Modulus Source Code

Every product Modulus provides includes full source code and an AI-ready foundation.

For teams building with AI, the Modulus Code Foundry gives your coding agents controlled access to our financial infrastructure, so they build on what is proven to work.

Modulus is a modern fintech company built on more than 30 years of production-proven engineering and millions of lines of source code, now accelerated by AI tools with direct access to our repositories and infrastructure.

Full source code with every product

When Modulus delivers a product, the source code comes with it. Build a new exchange or trading platform with us, and you receive its source to deploy, review, and extend. License a component like StockChartX, and its source is included too.

You license the code, not a closed product. It runs on your infrastructure, your team can read every line, and no vendor controls your roadmap. When requirements change, your team makes the change.

  • A new exchange or matching engine, source included
  • A white-label trading or broker platform, source included
  • A licensed component such as StockChartX, source included
  • A market-data, risk, or compliance layer, source included
  • Runs on your infrastructure, under your control
  • Updates and support available when you want them

Introducing the Modulus Code Foundry

The Modulus Code Foundry is a financial infrastructure skill and MCP server for agentic AI programming. It connects the AI coding tools your developers already use to Modulus's proprietary fintech source code, implementation patterns, architecture guidance, and reusable skill files.

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the standard that connects AI coding agents to outside systems. The Code Foundry supports it, so it works directly with the agentic workflows your team already runs. When an agent needs to build or modernize a trading platform, exchange, broker system, matching engine, market-data layer, or compliance and surveillance workflow, it requests the relevant Modulus skills and source rather than generating them from scratch, reusing proven implementation patterns and architecture guidance instead of generic snippets.

This is the difference between AI that approximates financial software and AI that builds on three decades of it. For banks, exchanges, brokerages, funds, and fintech teams, that is what makes AI coding dependable.

Works with your existing AI tools

Through MCP, the Modulus Code Foundry connects to the AI assistants and coding tools your team already uses.

AI amplifies expertise

AI creates real value for business, but how it is used decides the outcome. A widely reported example shows why: a lawyer filed a brief citing court cases the AI had invented. The lesson is not that the technology fails, but that it supplements expertise rather than replacing it. A trained lawyer catches the invented citations at once, while someone without that training does not.

The same is true of code, accounting, and analysis. In expert hands, these models do not replace the professional; they let one professional do the work of a team. A small firm can win engagements that once required a much larger one, and a non-technical founder can shape a working draft with AI, then hand it to engineers to take to production, far faster than briefing a developer from words alone.

The Code Foundry applies that principle to financial software. It puts production-tested infrastructure behind your AI, so engineers move faster and agents work from proven foundations rather than guesswork. Your experts stay in control, and the work gets done in a fraction of the time.

Full source code, backed by our engineers

However you receive Modulus code, with a product we build, a component you license, or through the Code Foundry, the terms are simple. You license the source, it runs on your infrastructure, and there are no recurring library fees and no revenue sharing on what you build.

When you want help, the engineers who wrote the code provide support and consulting at whatever level you need. You keep full control of your software, with the team that built the foundation a conversation away.

What the Code Foundry gives your AI

Rather than generate financial software from scratch, your AI agents build on the same proprietary foundation Modulus uses.

MCP-compatible

Connects to the enterprise AI coding tools your developers already use, through the Model Context Protocol.

Proprietary fintech source

Real components from Modulus products, not generic snippets gathered from the open web.

Implementation patterns

How exchanges, matching engines, and trading platforms are built and scaled in production.

Architecture guidance

Design decisions proven under real market load, latency, and regulation.

Reusable skill files

Packaged Modulus skills your agents request on demand for a specific task.

Controlled access

Governed and scoped to what your team licenses, so your AI reaches only what it should.

What you receive

Two ways to build on Modulus: the full source code behind everything we deliver, and the Code Foundry for your AI.

Source code you receive

  • Full source for any product we build for you
  • Full source for components you license, such as StockChartX
  • Exchanges, trading and broker platforms, market-data layers
  • Runs on your infrastructure, under your control
  • No hidden code, and no waiting on a vendor to make changes

The Modulus Code Foundry

  • MCP-compatible skill and source server for AI agents
  • Proprietary fintech source and implementation patterns
  • Architecture guidance for production-grade systems
  • Reusable skill files called on demand
  • Controlled, governed access scoped to your license

How it is licensed

  • You license the code; it runs on your own infrastructure
  • No recurring library fees
  • No revenue sharing on what you build
  • Ongoing updates
  • Support and consulting available when you want them
